Low Carb Turkey Lettuce Wrap

If you are like me you may constantly be on the hunt for low carb meals and snacks. As much as I love a freshly baked bun most of the time I am trying to find ways to cut the carbs out of my diet and lettuce wraps are a great way to accomplish this little task. Lettuce can easily take the place of bread and tortillas in your lunches it’s quick, effortless and still very tasty. My not so secret ingredient here that ties it all together is the Boar’s Head Chipotle Gourmaise!

I recently found this little gem at our local supermarket and it was on sale so of course it had to come home with me. This spread gives an ordinary sandwich or wrap just the right amount of kick to make it extraordinary. I would say the heat index is about a medium which is great for me because I don’t like to go too hot I like to still keep my taste buds in tact you know!

This comes together very quickly for a quick weekday lunch that is still incredibly satisfying while keeping it light and fresh. If you want to take it on the go wrap it tightly in plastic wrap and since there is no bread nothing will get soggy it’s a win win.

Instructions
  1. 1. Clean and dry your leaf of Romaine lettuce. Tip choose a larger leaf if you are going to wrap it up to go. 2. Place your Cheese and Turkey in the lettuce. 3. Place red cabbage, red peppers and sliced cucumbers on top of your turkey and cheese. 4. Top off with about a tablespoon or so of the Boar's Head Chipotle Gourmaise. 5. Enjoy!
