How to get Fit for Free with YouTube

Is getting in shape on your to do list this year? The good news is that you can workout for free, no need to go out and get an expensive gym membership. I have compiled the ultimate list of workouts just for you. These are my favorite Fitness YouTube channels. Best of all, you can watch them for FREE and workout in the comfort of your own home.

The You-tubers I follow use minimal workout equipment so don’t think you have to go out and purchase loads of equipment. The most basic things you will need are a yoga mat, stability ball, resistance bands, and dumbbell set. However, if you don’t have these things and they are not in your budget at the time don’t let that hold you back. You can find easy substitutions for these items right in your home! For example, you can use a towel in place of a yoga mat! Get creative, items with some weight like cans or water bottles make perfect low weight dumbbells.

1. Fitness Blender

Fitness Blender is a husband and wife team, Daniel and Kelli. They have hundreds of free videos on their channel to get you in shape with out ever going to a gym. They feature workouts for both men and women.

2. Natalie Jill Fitness

Natalie Jill is another favorite. She has over 200 videos on her channel with great information on fitness and nutrition. She uses minimal equipment and concentrates on using her own body-weight to workout.

3. Rebecca-Louise

This channel features 100’s of free videos with workouts that are geared for the Female figure.

After you workout be sure to fuel your body as soon as possible. Eating foods high in protein after you workout helps you repair and grow muscle. Remember that a healthy diet with minimal processed foods is the biggest part of staying fit and healthy! Some of my favorite post workout snacks are:

Greek Yogurt and Berries | Post workout Snack

Low Carb Turkey Lettuce Wrap

Chia Overnight Oats
